Hi Folks, It's no news that the English Premiership Season started last weekend. I know the lovers of football are gearing up for a very active season. I am posting a poetry for the ardent soccer followers on this forum. However, as you watch your favourite players and clubs, please I want to plead with you not to just be a spectator cheering others on the field of life. You must strive to make an impact in life by leaving footprints on the sand of time. Remember, to not only set goals, take actions to see your goals becoming realities. Its all about SCORING GOALS! FOOTBALL IS IT 22 players on a pitch 3 arbiters in black An array of spectators Diverse electronic media men Paparazzi and cameramen All gathered in an arena Just for one purpose The big round leather The cynosure of all eyes Tackles, dribbles, juggles Passes, shots and saves Diverse tactics and strategies In a battle for supremacy 90 minutes; the duration The ultimate aim GOALS © Dele Arogundade
