NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was CALLED barren. For with God nothing will be impossible(Luke 1: 36,37). Folks, I don't care what name people are calling you because of your situation. I just want to assure you that there is a God in heaven who ruleth in the affairs of men. With Him nothing is impossible. He said in Jeremiah 32:27- Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me? Men might have called your case hopeless, doctors might have given up on you and loved ones could have said it is finished but GOD IS SAYING I AM JUST STARTING WITH YOU. He has done it before, He can do it again. Put your trust in Him and He will show Himself strong on your behalf. Your testimony is on the way.

WORK SMART

If hardwork was the only secret of success in life, then the truckpushers and labourers who offload bags of cement should be the richest. But I have discovered that inasmuch as it is good to be hardworking, it is more profitable to work smart. I mean be informed to know what to do, how to do it and when to do it. Make yourself relevant by becoming an authority in whatever field you choose in life. Read this short story I got from a post on Deolu Akinyemi's website. "Have you ever heard the story of the giant ship engine that failed? The ship’s owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure out how to fix the engine. Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom. Two of the ship’s owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand dollars. “What?!” the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything!” So they wrote the old man a note saying, “Please send us an itemized bill.” The man sent a bill that read: Tapping with a hammer………………. $ 2.00 Knowing where to tap………………………..$9,998.00 GRAND TOTAL ……………………………..$10,000. 00 “Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life makes all the difference”.

SUNSET AT MID-DAY!

Someone once said why is it that good men die young? I write with a heavy heart as I join millions of Nigerians to express my condolence to the family of Late President Umaru Musa Yar,adua who passed on yesterday. He was an upright leader who really had good vision for his people. But alas, he's gone too soon, like a candle in the wind (apologies to Elton John). He's completed his sojourn on earth, we that are still in this world must take stock of how we spend our day, cos someday our sun too will set. We must answer the ultimate call. Thereafter, JUDGEMENT.
